In the spirit of Kujichagulia, the Rite of Adulthood allows us another way to reclaim things that worked in the ancient ways of our ancestors, from a culture that is thousands of years old. We are much more than the interruption caused four hundred years ago . It is well past time for us to shed the skin forced on us by events of the past and rise now in our full power. Let's gift children of African descent living in American culture with a strong dose of serenity and self direction as they journey through this year-long process from which they emerge more prepared to take their places as adults.
Adults can nominate children to participate, or youth 12-17 years old can apply for themselves, although the permission of a parent or guardian will ultimately be required.
Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of the 2025 group of initiates.
